Acne (acne vulgaris), rosacea.

Active ingredient

Composition

100 g of gel contains:

azelaic acid in terms of 100% substance – 15 g.

Auxiliary substances: Benzoic acid 0.1 g, methylpyrrolidone 4 g, squalane 1 g, propylene glycol 8 g, diacetate 0.1 g, sodium hydroxide 0.25 g, dimethicone 1 g, macrogoal cetosterate 1.4 g, carbomer interpolymer 1.4 g, purified water to 100 g.

How to take, the dosage

For the outside.

The gel should be applied to the skin after it has been thoroughly washed (with water or mild cleanser) and dried. The gel is applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin, twice a day (morning and evening) and rubbed in gently. About 2.5 cm of gel is sufficient for the entire surface of the face. In patients with common acne (acne vulgaris), a marked improvement is usually observed after 4 weeks.

The product must be continued for several months to achieve the best results.

Interaction

Can be used in combination with other medicines for the treatment of acne.

Special Instructions

Avoid getting the drug in the eyes and on the mucous membranes of the nose, lips and mouth. In cases of severe skin irritation in the first weeks of treatment, the gel may be used once a day; short-term withdrawal of the drug is also possible. When the symptoms of skin irritation disappear the regular use of the drug in the recommended dose should be resumed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

In the beginning of treatment there may be local irritation, skin hyperemia and peeling, burning, erythema, itching, which usually disappear during treatment. Allergic skin reactions are possible.

Overdose

There are currently no cases of overdose of the drug described.

Pregnancy use

In pregnancy and during breastfeeding, use only if the estimated benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the fetus and child.
