The Aqua Maris® Nasopharyngeal Lavage provides effective and gentle clearing of mucus and foreign particles and is recommended for use:

• in acute and chronic rhinitis

• in acute respiratory infections

• Allergic rhinitis

• in acute and chronic maxillary sinusitis, phrenitis, ethmoiditis

• In adenoiditis

• In case of extremely dry nasal mucosa and crust formation

Synopsis

The Aqua Maris® Lavage is a 30 packet-sachet of Adriatic Sea salt, rich in beneficial trace elements and minerals. It is used together with the Aqua Maris® Leica device.

1 sachet contains 2.97g of sea salt. When washing the nasal cavity with Aqua Maris® Lavage removes pathological content from the surface of the mucous membrane together with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust, reduces swelling and inflammation and increases capillary tone.

The mucous membranes are soothed with beneficial trace elements and salts from the Adriatic Sea:

calcium and magnesium ions significantly improve the functioning of the cells of the atrial fissile epithelium, normalize the rheological properties of the mucus, increase the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of viruses and bacteria

Iodine and sodium chloride have an antiseptic effect and also activate the production of protective mucus

Contraindications

Acute otitis media and exacerbation of chronic otitis media, individual intolerance to the components of the lavage, frequent nasal bleeding, benign and malignant neoplasms in the nasal cavity, complete obstruction of the nasal passages, children under 3 years of age.
