It has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect, which mechanism is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

How to take, the dosage

In/m or intravenously slowly in adults – 250-500 mg 2-3 times per day.

The maximum single dose is 1 g, daily – 2 g.

In children parenterally it is used in dose of 50-100 mg per 10 kg of body weight.

Special Instructions

In long-term use the peripheral blood picture should be monitored.

Sodium metamizole is used in combination with pitophenone and phenpiperinia bromide as an analgesic agent with antispasmodic effect.

Perhaps with caution in children in the first 3 months of life.
