The ammonia and anise drops is a combined preparation with expectorant and anti-inflammatory effects.

The anise oil intensely stimulates secretion of bronchial glands as well as promotes digestion and has antiseptic action.

Ammonia helps to liquefy sputum.

The active ingredients:

Anise oil2.81 g;

Ammonia solution 10%15 ml (equivalent to 1.5 g of ammonia);

Auxiliary substances:

Ethyl alcohol 90% (ethanol) – up to 100 ml.

How to take, the dosage

Internal, 2-3 times a day in diluted form (in 1/4-1/2 glasses of water): adults – 10-15 drops per administration, children – 1 drop per year of life.

When taking the drug it is recommended to administer plenty of warm fluids.

Interaction

The drug should not be used at the same time as an anti-cough medicine, because it makes it difficult to cough up the liquefied sputum.

Special Instructions

The product is to be used in diluted form only!

The product contains 90% ethyl alcohol. The content of absolute alcohol in the maximum single dose of the drug is 0.18 g, in the maximum daily dose of the drug – 0.54 g.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially dangerous activities. During the treatment period, caution must be exercised while driving motor transport and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities requiring high concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated if you are hypersensitive to the components that make up the drops.

The drug is also not used during pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting are possible.

Ingestion of undiluted drug may cause burns of the mucous membranes.
