Aloe is a biogenic stimulant.
It has adaptogenic, tonic, laxative, antiseptic and choleretic effect. It improves cell metabolism, trophic and tissue regeneration, increases general nonspecific resistance of the body and resistance of mucous membranes to damaging agents, accelerates regeneration processes.
It possesses some antimicrobial activity against streptococci, staphylococci, bacilli of typhoid fever and dysentery, protozoa.
Stimulates non-specific defense mechanisms. Stimulates male reproductive function. Increases motility of spermatozoa.
Indications
- Ophthalmology: used in the treatment of inflammatory eye diseases (blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis), cloudy vitreous, myopic chorioretinitis, iritis, retinitis pigmentosa, optic atrophy, progressive myopia.
- Gastroenterology: in the treatment of appetite reduction, treatment of a number of gastro-intestinal diseases outside acute stages (gastritis, gastroduodenitis, enterocolitis, cholecystitis).
- Pulmonology: in the treatment of bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, pneumonia.

How to take, the dosage
Subcutaneously. Every day 1 ml (maximum daily dose 3 – 4 ml), in children under 5 years of age – 0.2-0.3 ml, over 5 years of age – 0.5 ml. The course of 30-50 injections, repeated courses of treatment are carried out after a two- or three-month break.
In case of tuberculous lesions of the respiratory tract the initial dose is 0.2 ml with gradual increase.
In bronchial asthma it is administered for 10-15 days in 1-1.5 ml daily, then once every 2 days, for a total course of 30-35 injections.
Interaction
In prolonged use of the drug, potassium content in the body may decrease, which may contribute to enhancing the effect of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmic drugs. When concomitant use of Aloe liquid extract and thiazide diuretics, loop diuretics, licorice drugs, corticosteroids the risk of potassium deficiency increases.
Aloe extract liquid potentiates the effect of laxatives and drugs that stimulate hematopoiesis.
Special Instructions
The drug may contain suspended matter, which precipitates when stored, which when the ampoules are shaken turns into a homogeneous suspension.
