Wound care product.
Ranosan ointment is used for dogs, cats, furbearing animals, decorative rodents and sport horses externally to treat wounds of different etiology, burns, bedsores, frostbites, inflammatory diseases of skin and soft tissue, as well as for prevention of postoperative infections (after castration, mutilation of tails and ears, suturing).

Active ingredient
Hydroxymethylquinoxylindioxide, methyluracil, chloramphenicol, lidocaine
Composition
Hydroxymethylquinoxylindioxide – 10 mg/g, methyluracil – 30 mg/g, chloramphenicol – 10 mg/g, lidocaine hydrochloride – 50 mg/g, excipients.
How to take, the dosage
Ranosan ointment is applied externally to animals once a day until complete healing of the affected surface, but no more than 14 days. Before using the drug, if necessary, treatment of the affected surface shall be carried out: cut hair, free the wound from mechanical contaminants, crusts, scabs, washed with antiseptic solutions.
The Ranosan ointment is applied as a thin layer to the affected area with the help of a putty knife, glass wand or cotton-gauze tampon, spreading evenly from the periphery to the center of the affected area, leaving free boundary healthy skin within 1 cm.
The open wounds are covered with gauze napkins with the ointment applied to them and fixed with bandage, in cavity wounds the ointment is applied by drainage method.
