🐾 Cardalis tablets 2.5 mg/20 mg for dogs, 30 pcs.

Cardalis is administered individually to dogs orally with food or in mixture with small amount of food offered immediately before main feeding, once a day at a dose of 0.25 mg/kg of animal weight of benazepril hydrochloride and 2 mg/kg of animal weight of spironolactone.
Duration of therapy depending on clinical condition of the animal and disease course is determined by the attending doctor on condition of regular blood electrolyte monitoring.

Indications

PIMOPET is used in dogs to treat cardiovascular insufficiency caused by dilated cardiomyopathy or valve failure (mitral and/or tricuspid valve regurgitation) with characteristic symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, decreased exercise tolerance or ascites.

Composition

Cardalis® 2.5 mg/20 mg chewable tablets contain as active ingredients: benazepril hydrochloride 2.5 mg and spironolactone 20 mg.

Contraindications

Contraindications for use of cardalis is individual hypersensitivity of dogs to components of the drug, hypoadrenocorticism, hyperkalemia and hyponatremia, heart failure caused by aortic or pulmonary artery stenosis.
Do not use Cardalis during pregnancy and lactation as well as in dogs used for breeding due to possible embryotoxic effect of benazepril (congenital defect of the urinary tract in the fetus). It is not recommended to use the drug in growing dogs due to anti-androgenic effect of spironolactone.
