Zivox 100 mg/5 ml 66 g

Zivox is an antimicrobial drug belonging to the class of oxazolidinones. The mechanism of action of Zivox is due to the selective inhibition of protein synthesis in bacteria. Due to binding to bacterial ribosomes, linezolid prevents the formation of the functional initiating complex 70S, which is a component of the translation process of protein synthesis.

Indications

The treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by anaerobic and aerobic gram-positive microorganisms sensitive to the drug (including infections accompanied by bacteremia):

Infections caused by Gram-negative microorganisms confirmed or suspected (as part of combination therapy).

Composition

Active ingredient: linezolid 100 mg;

Auxiliary substances: sucrose; citric acid; sodium citrate; MCC and sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose; aspartame; xanthan gum; mannitol; sodium benzoate; orange flavoring; colloidal silicon dioxide; mint flavoring S.D. How to take, the dosage

Ingestion. Can be taken both with meals and between meals. It is prescribed in the recommended single dose 2 times a day.

In children (5 years and older): The recommended dose is 10 mg/kg body weight 2 times a day orally. The maximum dose for adults and children should not exceed 600 mg 2 times a day.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Linezolid and/or other components of Zivox

Side effects

Digestive system disorders: taste disorder, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain (including spastic), flatulence, changes in total bilirubin, ALT, AST, ALP.

Hematopoietic system: reversible anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia.
