The Windi is a rectal catheter designed for single use to rid babies of excessive gas. The health and safety of children was paramount in its development. Windi is designed so that any parent without special medical qualifications and training can help their child get rid of excessive gas.

Directions for use

The Windi Bladder Tube should be used in conjunction with a tummy massage (see instructions on package) to maximize results. 

The instructions for use:

Massage your baby’s tummy by gently running your hand from the right side to the center of the tummy and then from top to bottom to direct gas to the anal opening. Do the same massage on the left side. Repeat the massage 3 times on each side. 

Lubricate the tube with baby cream, oil or Vaseline before insertion. Lift the baby’s legs and gently insert it into the anus, similar to a thermometer. When the gas begins to come out, you will immediately hear a characteristic sound. A small amount of feces may come out with the gas. If the gas does not come out at once, repeat the massage and try to insert the tube again. It is necessary to repeat the procedure several times to achieve the desired result. You can use the same tube several times during one treatment. Do not leave the tube in your child’s anus after the treatment. Discard the tube after use.  Repeated use can cause infection.
