Indications

As a carrier or diluent for the preparation of sterile injection solutions from powders, lyophilisates and concentrates.

Used for the preparation of sterile solutions, including for subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous administration.

How to take, the dosage

The doses and speed of administration must comply with the instructions for the dosage of diluted drugs.

The preparation of drug solutions using water for injection must be done under sterile conditions (opening ampoules, filling syringes and drug containers).

Interaction

When mixing with other drugs (infusion solutions, concentrates for preparation of infusion; injection solutions, powders, dry substances for preparation of injection) a visual control for compatibility is necessary (there may be pharmaceutical incompatibility).

Special Instructions

Injection water cannot be directly injected intravascularly because of the low osmotic pressure (risk of hemolysis!).

Contraindications

Injection water is not used as a drug solvent if a different solvent is specified.
