Vitalipid N is a product for parenteral nutrition.

Vitalipid H has a replenishing effect on the deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins.

Indications

VITALIPID N Adult is used for parenteral nutrition as a supplement that provides the daily requirement for fat-soluble vitamins A, D2, E, K1 in adults and children over 11 years.

Composition

1 ml of the emulsion contains:

acting ingredients:

retinol palmitate 194.1 µg (corresponding to 99 µg retinol),

phytomenadione 15 µg,

ergocalciferol 0.5 µg,

tocopherol 0.91 mg,

helpers:

soybean oil, 100 mg;

Egg yolk phospholipids, 12 mg;

Glycerol anhydrous – 22 mg;

Sodium hydroxide 1M* – q.s. to pH 8;

water for injection – up to 1 ml.

How to take, the dosage

Before use, it must be diluted. Adult patients and children over 11 years of age are administered: 1 hour before infusion under aseptic conditions, one ampoule (10 ml) of Vitalipid H Adult is added to 500 ml of Intralipid 10% and 20%. The resulting solution is stirred by gentle rocking, then used for parenteral infusions in accordance with Intralipid administration instructions. The resulting solution should be used within 24 hours.

Vitalipid H Adult can be used to dilute Soluvit H (covers the daily requirement for water-soluble vitamins). 10 ml of Vitalipid H Adult is sterilely added to the vial with Soluvit H, then the resulting solution is sterilely transferred to the vial with Intralipid.

Interaction

Only preparations with which compatibility is not in doubt may be added to Vitalipid H Adult. The following solutions are recommended:

2.Soluvit H

The mixing of solutions must be done under aseptic conditions.
