Pharmacodinamics
Viprosal B® is an analgesic ointment with viper venom. Its pharmacological action is due to the following ingredients: adder venom, camphor, turpentine, salicylic acid. The drug irritates sensitive receptors of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, dilates blood vessels and improves tissue trophism. It has local irritating and analgesic effect.

PHARMACODYNAMICS
Viprosal B® analgesic ointment with viper venom. The pharmacological effect is due to the components included in the drug: viper venom, camphor, turpentine, salicylic acid. The drug causes irritation of sensitive receptors in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, dilates blood vessels, and improves tissue trophism. It has a local irritant and analgesic effect.

Special instructions
Do not apply ointment to damaged skin. To avoid severe irritation, avoid contact of the ointment with the eyes and mucous membranes.
The ointment contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (eg, contact dermatitis).
Before the first use of the drug, it is recommended to apply a small amount of ointment to the skin to determine sensitivity to the components of the drug.
The use of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Camphor, Salicylic acid, Gum turpentine, Viper venom
Composition
1 g ointment contains:
active ingredients: dry viper venom – 0.05 HONEY (mouse action units), racemic camphor – 30 mg, gum turpentine – 30 mg and salicylic acid – 10 mg;
excipients: petroleum jelly, cetostearyl alcohol, solid paraffin, sodium cetyl stearyl sulfate, glycerol, sodium chloride and purified water up to 1 g.

The use of ointment is contraindicated
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the ointment, damage to the skin, skin diseases (including allergic and bacterial origin), fever, pulmonary tuberculosis, cerebral and coronary circulation disorders, a tendency to vasospasms, severe renal and liver dysfunction, general exhaustion. Pregnancy and breastfeeding period. Children’s age up to 12 years.
Side Effects
When using the drug, side effects such as itching, swelling, and urticaria are possible. If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions worsen, or any other side effects not listed in the instructions are noted, you should immediately inform your doctor.
Overdose
When using the drug in accordance with the instructions for use, an overdose is unlikely. If the drug is accidentally swallowed, gastrointestinal upset may occur. Treatment: symptomatic.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Keep out of the reach of children.
