How to take, the dosage

Valerian is taken orally before meals with 100 ml of water. One tablet 2-3 times a day.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.

Interaction

Valerian tablets increase the effect of sleeping pills, anxiolytics, analgesics, sedatives.

The drug can be combined with cardiotonic and hypotensive agents.

There have been no cases of adverse drug interactions when prescribing Valerian tablets against the background of therapy with other drugs included in the commonly used treatment regimens for cardiovascular and gastro-intestinal diseases.

Special Instructions

During treatment, the ability to drive and operate various mechanisms may be impaired.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Valerian.

Side effects

When using Valerian in high doses, lethargy, drowsiness, depression, weakness, and reduced performance may occur.

Overdose

Symptoms: overdose is accompanied by increased side effects of the drug, gastrointestinal discomfort, depression, drowsiness or agitation, nausea, vomiting.

Treatment: induction of vomiting, gastric lavage (not later than 2 hours after taking the drug). Symptomatic therapy.
