Valerian tablets increase the effect of sleeping pills, anxiolytics, analgesics, sedatives.

The drug can be combined with cardiotonic and hypotensive agents.

There have been no cases of adverse drug interactions when prescribing Valerian tablets against the background of therapy with other drugs included in the commonly used treatment regimens for cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases.

Impact on the ability to drive and operate machinery:

Long-term use at high doses may decrease psychomotor reactions, which should be considered when driving, operating machinery, etc.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the ingredients of the drug, sucrose isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, children under 12 years.
With caution – chronic enterocolitis.

Side effects

When using Valerian in high doses, lethargy, drowsiness, depression, weakness, and decreased performance may occur.

Overdose

Symptoms: overdose is accompanied by increased side effects of the drug, gastrointestinal discomfort, depression, drowsiness or agitation, nausea, vomiting.

Treatment: induction of vomiting, gastric lavage (not later than 2 hours after taking the drug). Symptomatic therapy.
