Usually the first two days 1-2 drops are put in every hour; in the next 2-3 days 1-2 drops are put in 6-8 times a day at regular intervals. Otology.
The solution to put in the ears must be injected into the ear canal, with the patient lying with the affected ear up. This position should be maintained for at least 5 minutes after injection. Injection of a cold solution should be avoided because it may cause a heat reaction (dizziness). Consequently, it is advisable to warm the solution before putting it in the ear by holding the bottle with the solution in the palm of the hand for 1-2 minutes.
In order to better penetrate the auris media (middle ear), it is recommended that the patient pulls the ossicle outward.
Adults. The exact dosage of the drug and the duration of treatment is prescribed by the doctor. As a rule, in otitis externa (otitis externa) 10 drops are given twice a day for 10 days.
