Turpentine ointment 20% 25 g

The turpentine ointment is a remedy of plant origin.

It has a local irritating and “distracting” effect, which is achieved by excitation of skin receptors and local release of biologically active substances (including histamine). It also has antiseptic action.

Composition

100 g of ointment for external use contains:

the active ingredient:

turpentine (purified turpentine oil) 20.0 g

excipients:

macrogoal glyceryl hydroxystearate 4.0 g,

ctosteryl alcohol (cetyl alcohol 60%, stearyl alcohol 40%) 4.5 g,

Cetostearate macrogoal 6.0 g,

Vaseline 30.0 g,

Purified water up to 100.0 g.

How to take, the dosage

Turpentine ointment is used externally.

To rub the affected or painful areas 1-3 times a day

Contraindications

With caution:
hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, childhood.
