Troxerutin Vramed has venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, antioxidant effect.Flanovoid (rutin derivative), has P-vitamin activity; has venotonic, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect.

Its pharmacodynamic properties are connected with participation of bioflavonoids of troxerutin in redox processes and inhibition of hyaluronidase.

Inhibiting hyaluronidase, troxerutin stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces capillary permeability and fragility and increases their tone.

It has antioxidant activity, thus preventing oxidation of ascorbic acid, adrenaline and lipids. It prevents damage to the basal membrane of endothelial cells when it is exposed to various factors.

Troxerutin reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall by limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface. As a result of treatment with troxerutin the feeling of heaviness in legs disappears, swelling of tissues decreases, trophicity improves

How to take, the dosage

Troxerutin Vramed is taken orally with meals, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day.

For maintenance treatment – 1 capsule per day for 3-4 weeks.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis (acute phase).

Side effects

Allergic reactions (skin rash), gastrointestinal erosive-ulcerative lesions, headache.

Pregnancy use

Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and lactation, in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy can be used only on prescription.
