Travogen, vaginal cream 1% 20 g

Isoconazole is a synthetic imidazole derivative.

Travogen has topical antifungal and antibacterial action. It acts fungistatically, with increasing concentration – fungicidal. It suppresses ergosterol synthesis and changes the composition of the microbial cell membrane.

Active against dermatophytes Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Epidermophyton spp., mold, yeast and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp, Pityrosporum orbiculare), as well as Corynebacterium minutissimum – the causative agent of erythrazma and Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp.

• fungal skin lesions, including secondary infections (mycoses of the feet and smooth skin, including. microsporia, trichophytosis, rubrophytica);
• dermophytosis
• epidermophytosis;
• candidicoses
• liverwort (pityriasis);
• erythrax.

Polysorbate 60;

sorbitan stearate;

Cetyl stearyl alcohol;

liquid paraffin;

white petroleum jelly;

How to take, the dosage

Externally. Travogen is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin and lightly rubbed in once a day.

The course of treatment is usually 2-3 weeks, with localization of mycoses in the folds – up to 4 weeks. A longer course of treatment is also possible.

To prevent relapse, treatment should be continued for 2 weeks after resolution of clinical manifestations.

Special Instructions

The drug is for external use only.

The product should be discontinued if the first symptoms suggest hypersensitivity or irritation.

Contact of the drug into the eyes should be avoided. If the drug accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with warm water.

If any side effects occur that are not listed in the instructions, they should be reported to your doctor.

If the treatment has no effect, consult a physician.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to components of Travogen.

Side effects

Usually Travogen is well tolerated, even when applied to sensitive skin.

Rarely, irritation (burning and itching sensation, erythema) may develop, very rarely – skin allergic reactions.
