Strepsils has antiseptic action, active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, has antimycotic action.

Indications

Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat (sore throat, sore throat).

The drug can be used by people with diabetes (contains no sugar).

How to take, the dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age – 1 tablet every 2-3 hours (not more than 8 tablets in 24 hours).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, loss of tongue sensitivity (care should be taken with hot food and water);

in some cases, the resorptive toxic effect of lidocaine is possible.

Overdose

It is unlikely that a possible overdose may lead to severe anesthesia of the upper digestive tract.

Treatment: symptomatic therapy.
