The extract of shiitake mushrooms contains polysaccharide lentinan, which stimulates the anti-tumor activity of the immune system by activating the mechanism of destruction of foreign cells. Lentinan polysaccharide has antitumor activity.

Lentinan has been shown to have antitumor activity by stimulating natural killer (NK-cells) and T-lymphocyte killer cells.

Lentinan has proven to be an effective radioprotective agent in the development of protection against radiation damage. Shiitake also improves hematopoiesis and accelerates tissue regeneration.

Vitamin D3, in addition to its well-known function – ensuring normal bone growth and development – potentiates the action of the cytostatic drug in the tumor, prolongs the therapeutic effect and allows to minimize the load of the basic chemotherapy drug.

The active metabolite of vitamin D3 inhibits the growth and development of cancerous formations.
