Pharmic action:

Salicylic zinc paste is a combined preparation for topical use.

Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and keratolytic effects.
Zn2+ has a drying effect.

Indications

It is effective in the treatment of: subacute eczema of various genesis, hyperhidrosis of the feet.

Active ingredient

Composition

1 g of paste for external use contains:

acting substances:

salicylic acid 20 mg,

zinc oxide 250 mg,

accessory substances:

wheat starch,

Vaseline

How to take, the dosage

Salicylic zinc paste is used topically. It is applied to the skin 1-2 times a day.

Special Instructions

The salicylic acid in the paste may pass through the skin into the bloodstream.

Do not apply the paste to soaking wounds.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, childhood (under 12 years).

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose

Symptoms: if the paste is applied to large areas of the skin for a long time, tinnitus, dizziness, impaired hearing, sweating may occur. In severe cases – seizures, hemorrhagic diathesis, respiratory depression, liver and kidney function disorders.

Treatment: symptomatic.
