Pharmacological action

Isotretinoin is one of the biologically active forms of vitamin A.

It inhibits terminal differentiation of sebocytes and hyperproliferation of epithelium of sebaceous gland exit ducts, normalizes the composition of their secretion and facilitates its evacuation.

This decreases sebum production and reduces the inflammatory reaction around the glands. The ointment has an antiseborrheic, anti-inflammatory and keratolytic effect and enhances the regeneration processes in the skin.

Isotretinoin 0.1 g.

Auxiliary substances:

butylhydroxytoluene – 0.05 g,

butyl hydroxyanisole – 0,025 g,

emulsion wax – 8,0 g,

Vaseline oil – 8,0 g,

Glycerol (glycerin) – 10,0 g,

Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% – 10,0 g,

Purified water up to 100 g.

Directions for use

Special Instructions

It is not recommended to apply the ointment to the skin around the eyes or if there is severe acute inflammation.

Do not apply to the mucous membranes.

At all times during treatment, sun exposure should be avoided, sunscreen should be used if necessary, preventive and curative use of UV rays and solarium usage is not recommended.

The drug does not affect the ability to drive and perform work requiring increased concentration.
