Special instructions

Does not contain sucrose, alcohol, dyes, flavors, or flavoring additives. Does not affect the ability to drive a car or operate complex technical devices. In the first days of use, a mild and short-lived laxative effect is possible due to the action of sorbitol.

Since Renisal does not contain sugar, it can be taken by patients with diabetes. 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) contains no more than 0.25 g of sorbitol, which corresponds to no more than 0.1 XE.

Active components

All medicinal plants that make up Renisal contain substances (phenolcarbolic acids, essential oils, etc.) that have an antimicrobial effect. The advantage of these medicinal plants is the combination of antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which is especially valuable for chronic processes in the urinary tract. The most significant biologically active substances of Renisal are phenolic glycosides and phenolcarboxylic acids (rosemary, lovage, centaury); phthalides (lovage); secoiridoides (centaury); essential oils (lovage, rosemary); flavonoids (centaury, rosemary).

Centaury contains alkaloids, flavonoid compounds, bitter glycosides, phenolic acids, tannins, ascorbic and oleanolic acids. Has a diuretic and antibacterial effect.

Lovage contains essential oils, phenolcarboxylic acids, and phthalides. It has a diuretic, antispasmodic and antibacterial effect. The active substances are mainly used for their diuretic and anticonvulsant effects and are used to treat bladder and kidney problems, as well as urolithiasis.

Rosemary contains rosmarinic acid, essential oils and flavonoids. The presence of rosmarinic acid is responsible for anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antispasmodic and antibacterial effects.
