Calcium carbonate neutralizes hydrochloric acid and reduces the acidity of gastric juice. It works quickly and normalizes the electrolyte balance. The effect lasts longer than that of absorbed antacids. Binds lysolecithin, bile acids that damage the gastric mucosa.

Dry kelp extract is a source of alginic acids. Alginic acids are polysaccharides whose molecules are built from D-mannuronic and L-guluronic acid residues. Mannuronic acid blocks give alginate solutions viscosity. When the guuluronic acid blocks associate with calcium cations, gelation occurs.

Ginger root extract has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antispasmodic activity thanks to gingerol. It suppresses painful contractions of the stomach muscles, being an excellent remedy for nausea. Ginger is used for peptic ulcer, to increase appetite and improve digestion, as well as for disorders of fat and cholesterol metabolism.

The licorice root extract contains glycyrrhizic acid, flavonoids, phytosterols and coumarin. The extract has an antispasmodic effect and accelerates the healing of stomach ulcers.

The anti-inflammatory properties of the plant are due to glycyrrhizic acid. By undergoing metabolic changes in the body, glycyrrhizic acid has a corticosteroid-like effect in knocking down the inflammatory reactions caused by inflammatory mediators.

Aloe vera extract contains biologically active substances that promote healing of ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract, enhance intestinal peristalsis. The extract is able to restore intestinal balance by regulating the gastrointestinal acidity (pH), while improving gastrointestinal motility, increasing the specific mass of stool and reducing the concentration of certain types of microorganisms, including yeast. It participates in detoxification of the body, helps to neutralize acidity, alleviate constipation and increase the body’s reparative functions in gastric ulcers.

Flax seed extract contains a large amount of mucus, which has a coating effect, protects and restores the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract.

The milk thistle extract is a source of flavolignans (silymarin, silybin, silydianin, silicristin) and flavonoids (taxifolin, quercetin, kaempferol), also contains essential oils, a full range of essential amino acids and other bioactive substances. It has a pronounced protective effect on liver cells, strengthens cell membranes, normalizes the function of the gallbladder. It also has detoxifying properties. It helps to normalize digestion.
