Radevit Aktiv, ointment 35 g

Radevit Aktiv – dermatoprotective, stimulates regeneration, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic.

Radevit normalizes the processes of keratinization (the effects are due to the corresponding vitamins included in the product), stimulates regeneration processes.

Indications

Complex therapy for adults and children with ichthyosis and ichthyosiform dermatosis, seborrheic dermatitis, cracked skin, erosions and burns, non-infected wounds and ulcers, eczema, atopic dermatitis, neurodermitis, allergic contact dermatitis (no acute stage), psoriasis, dry skin.

The prevention of relapse of chronic inflammatory and allergic skin diseases, after discontinuation of treatment with glucocorticosteroids (subacute period), with easily irritable skin, including hypersensitivity to cosmetic products.

Composition

How to take, the dosage

Outwardly. The ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin in a thin layer twice a day. If the skin is very flaky, it is possible to use an occlusive dressing. Before applying the ointment to cracks and other skin defects they are treated with antiseptics.

The duration of treatment depends on the localization and severity of the process and may take several weeks.

Interaction

Should not be used in combination with other drugs containing retinoids, vitamins A, E and D (risk of hypervitaminosis A, E, D).

The effect of the ointment is weakened if glucocorticosteroids are prescribed at the same time.

The administration of salicylates and glucocorticosteroids reduces side effects.

When used in the acute period – increased itching and erythema (in this case, the drug should be temporarily withdrawn until the acuteness of the process decreases). Allergic reactions. To avoid overdose and development of hypervitaminosis it is not recommended to apply the drug to large surfaces of the skin (over 80%) for more than 6 weeks.
