Pharmacological properties
Combination drug, has anti-glaucoma effect. Clonidine and butylaminohydroxypropoxyphenoxymethyl methyloxadiazole reduce intraocular pressure by reducing aqueous humor production and increasing its outflow. The effect occurs 15-30 min after instillation, peaks in 2-6 hours and lasts for 24 hours. It has no effect on accommodation, refraction and pupil size.
