Prostatylene has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland.

Promotes reduction of edema, stasis of the secretion, leukocytic infiltration of the prostate.

Normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells.

It has anti-aggregant activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate.

Indications

Chronic prostatitis. Conditions after surgical interventions on the prostate gland.

How to take, the dosage

Lyophilizate for preparation of the solution

Prostatylene is administered in the form of 5-10 mg once a day. Before injection, the drug is dissolved in 1-2 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution or 0.25-0.5% novocaine solution. Duration of treatment is 5-10 days. If necessary, the course may be repeated after 1-6 months.

Rectal suppositories

Prostatylene is administered rectally 1 1-2 (morning and evening). The drug should be used after bowel emptying and hygienic procedures. Before using suppositories should be moistened with water. The suppositories are inserted deep into the anus. After insertion it is recommended that the patient should lie down for 30-40 minutes. The duration of treatment is 5-10 days.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the drug.
