Propolis, tincture 25 ml

The medicinal product of natural origin, based on the product of bees – propolis.

Propolis (bee glue) is a mixture of wax, resins, essential oils and several other natural compounds: flavonoids, salts of cinnamic acid, benzoic acid.

It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antipruritic and analgesic properties, accelerates the process of regeneration and epithelialization of wound surfaces and promotes the growth of granulation.

propolis alcohol extract 1 : 10.

Contains not less than 70% ethyl alcohol

Actual extract of propolis 1 : 10.

How to take, the dosage

Propolis tincture is used only topically in the form of applications, gargles, rinses, as well as in the form of inhalation.

In case of micro-injuries Propolis tincture is applied with a swab to the affected area of the skin or mucous membranes 2-3 times a day.

In case of otitis media, in the external auditory canal (after cleansing it) the tincture is applied for 1-2 minutes with the tincture or by putting 1-2 drops of the medicine 3-4 times a day.

In pharyngitis and tonsillitis Propolis tincture is smeared on the mucous membranes of the pharynx and tonsils 2-3 times a day for 8-15 days. With chronic tonsillitis drug is also used to prepare an inhalation solution, mixing Propolis tincture with water in a ratio of 1:20. Conduct 1-2 inhalations per day for 7-10 days.

The sinuses are irrigated with a mixture of Propolis tincture and physiological solution (0,9% sodium chloride solution) in the ratio of 1:10 twice a day for two weeks.

In periodontal diseases, Propolis tincture soaked tampons (turundas) are placed in the periodontal cavities for 5 minutes.

For mouth rinsing in case of superficial lesions and injuries of the mucous membrane the solution prepared by diluting 30-40 drops of Propolis tincture in 100 ml of warm water is used. Gargling is carried out 4-5 times a day for 3-4 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, eczema.
