Pharmacological properties

It has a bactericidal effect on Gram-positive (Staphylococus aureus, Corynebacteria, etc.) and gram-negative microorganisms (Enterococus faecium, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Hemophilus influenzae, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Ureaplasma urealyticum).

It has fungicidal effect on pathogenic fungi, especially yeast-like genera Candida albicans, Cryptococcus, Hystoplasma. It improves trophic processes in the vaginal mucosa.

Pharmacokinetics. It is evenly distributed in the vaginal mucosa with a local bactericidal and fungicidal effect. It is practically not absorbed from the surface of the vaginal mucosa.

Indications

Treatment.
-nonspecific, fungal, mixed vaginitis, vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis;
Prevention.
– before surgery in the genital area;
– before intrauterine diagnostic procedures;

Special instructions

The drug is designed specifically for use in girls and adolescents. The duration of use of the drug should be limited in order to prevent the development of resistance to it in certain pathogens and the risk of reinfection. In case of renal failure, consult a doctor. During treatment, you should refrain from using intravaginal tampons. Shouldn’t
interrupt the course of treatment during menstruation.

Composition

Nystatin 100,000 IU

Excipients: hydrogenated soybean oil, dimethicone 1000,

Tephos 63®: palmitic acid esters and stearic acid esters.

Capsule shell composition: gelatin, glycerol, dimethicone 1000, purified water.
