Picovit® syrup for children contains a complex of vitamins that are important factors in metabolic processes in the body.
Pikovit syrup contains 9 essential vitamins for children from 1 year old. The drug is used as a preventive measure and also as part of complex therapy to improve well-being with various diseases, to accelerate recovery.
The multivitamin complex has a pleasant fruity taste based on the natural extract of grapefruit and orange, and due to the liquid form of release – syrup, Picovit is easy to give to very young children.
In children in their second year of life, organs and tissues continue to grow, all body systems are formed, therefore, the need for vitamins increases, which help normal development, improve the function of organs and systems, and improve resistance to disease.
Vitamin A is involved in the synthesis of various substances (proteins, lipids, mucopolysaccharides) and ensures normal function of the skin, mucous membranes and eyes.
Vitamin D3 plays an important role in maintaining the balance of calcium and phosphorus in the body. When it is deficient, calcium content in bone tissue decreases (osteoporosis).
Vitamin B 1 normalizes heart function and promotes normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B2 promotes tissue regeneration processes, including skin cells.
Vitamin B6 contributes to the structure and function of bones, teeth, gums, influences erythropoiesis, promotes normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B12 is involved in erythropoiesis, promotes normal functioning of the nervous system. B vitamins are involved in the formation of various enzymes that regulate metabolism in the body.
Vitamin C is involved in the oxidation of a number of biologically active substances, the regulation of metabolism in the connective tissue, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulation and tissue regeneration, stimulates the formation of steroid hormones, normalizes capillary permeability. Vitamin C increases resistance to infection and reduces inflammatory reactions.
Vitamin PP and D-panthenol are coenzymes involved in the metabolism of proteins in the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol, in the production of energy and are necessary for the normal functioning of the central nervous system.
