Sienna (Alexandrian leaf): used as a laxative for atony of the large intestine, habitual constipation. The action is due to the anthraglycosides of the plant, which breakdown in the gastrointestinal tract, stimulates the mucosal receptors of the gastrointestinal tract.

The plantain: has antispasmodic, laxative, anti-inflammatory effects.

Dill: has antispasmodic and carminative effects, increases the secretion of digestive glands.
