OST TENDON, syringe, 40 mg/2 ml

OST TENDON helps improve joint mobility and the process of physiological tissue repair. In addition, the macromolecular mesh structure of the OST TENDON medical device allows blocking the inflammatory process at the molecular and cellular level. OST TENDON is a clear highly purified solution of sodium hyaluronate of natural origin obtained in the process of fermentation, which does not contain any animal protein.

OST TENDON also contains mannitol, a free radical acceptor to normalize the chemical bonding of the sodium hyaluronate chain. Biocompatibility testing of OST TENDON medical device has proven its high degree of safety.

Pain and limited mobility in various joint conditions.

sodium dihydrogen phosphate,

mannitol,

water for injection.

How to take, the dosage

OST® TENDON should be injected into the affected tendon or joint cavity once a week for up to 2 injections. Simultaneous administration of OST® TENDON to several joints is possible. The treatment can be withdrawn if required.

The contents and the outside of the syringe containing the OST® TENDON medical product solution are sterile until the package is opened. Open the sterile package, rotate the cap with the Lauer-Lok™ [JIyyep-Lok] logo, insert the appropriate size needle (25 to 27 grams), secure the needle by slightly rotating it. Remove any air bubbles before use.

Interaction

Incompatibilities between OST® TENDON and medications used in the treatment of joint disorders have not been identified to date.

Special Instructions

Caution should be exercised when using OST® TENDON in patients with a known hypersensitivity to medications.

General precautions should be observed during joint injection and periarticular injection. OST® TENDON must be injected precisely into the affected joint area and if necessary, tomographic images should be used to determine the area of the lesion.

Nervous areas must be avoided and the product must not enter any blood vessels!

The use of OST® TENDON in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women is not recommended because clinical trials of the effects of sodium hyaluronate on these categories of people have not been conducted.

The syringe should not be used if it is damaged or if the packaging is broken.

The solution not used immediately after opening the package must be disposed of, since the sterility of the solution is not guaranteed in this case.

Contraindications

It should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the medical device.

Side effects

During treatment with OST® TENDON, local secondary effects such as pain, fever, bruising, redness and swelling may occur.
