Oksolin, ointment 0.25% 10 g

Antiviral agent for nasal use.

It has antiviral activity against influenza virus by blocking the binding sites of the virus with the cell membrane surface, prevents the reproduction of the virus in cells.

Dioxotetrahydroxytetrahydronaphthalene viruses are also sensitive to the action of Herpes simplex, herpes zoster, adenoviruses, viruses of infectious warts and molluscum.

When applied to the mucous membrane up to 20% of the drug is absorbed. It does not accumulate in the body and is excreted mainly by the kidneys within a day.
