Octenisept is antiseptic.
Pharmacodynamics
Active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, lipophilic viruses (such as Herpes simplex virus and hepatitis B virus) as well as against yeast-like fungi and dermatophytes.

How to take, the dosage
Externally, topically.
The treatment is carried out alternately with two swabs liberally moistened with Octenisept. The affected surface should be treated completely. On easily accessible areas the drug can be applied by spraying. Exposure time is at least 1-2 minutes.
The dressings shall be applied after complete drying of Octenisept (i.e. after 1-2 minutes). Before applying the drug the tissue areas to be treated should be cleaned of pus or other biosubstrates.
20 ml of the product is used to rinse the mouth, a second rinse is recommended after 20 seconds.
To prevent fungal diseases, the skin between the toes and feet is treated with the drug 2 times a day (morning and evening). The treatment period is up to 14 days.
Interaction
Do not use with iodine-containing antiseptics.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
There may be a brief burning sensation at the application site.
There may be a bitter taste when rinsing the mouth.
