Nutrini, 500 ml

The Nutrini is specially designed for tube feeding of children from 1 to 6 years of age (or weighing from 8 to 20 kg) in a hospital setting at an age for the following situations:

• After-effects of protein-energy deficiencies (growth and/or weight deficits, developmental delays)
• Elevated protein-energy costs (critical conditions, injuries, burns, infectious diseases, sepsis, severe surgical interventions, severe congenital and acquired CNS lesions,
• Preoperative preparation and postoperative management during surgeries for the correction of malformations (malformations of the heart, malformations of the maxillofacial area, gastrointestinal system, urinary system, and so on.)
• Children who need to limit the volume of fluid (hydrocephalus, increased intracranial pressure, heart, urinary system malformations, heart failure, etc.).
• Children who are unable to feed themselves, refuse to eat (oncopathology, affection of the CNS, gastrointestinal tract, etc.)

Special kinds of formula take into account the special needs of the child’s body.

Indications

Nutrini is specially designed for tube feeding of children aged 1 to 6 years (or weighing from 8 to 20 kg) in a hospital setting in the following situations:

Consequences of protein-energy malnutrition (height and/or weight deficiency, developmental delay)
Increased protein and energy costs (critical conditions, injuries, burns, infectious diseases, sepsis, severe surgical interventions, severe congenital and acquired lesions of the central nervous system, cardiovascular system)
Preoperative preparation and postoperative management during operations to correct developmental defects (heart defects, defects of the maxillofacial area, gastrointestinal tract, urinary system, etc.)
Children who need to limit the volume of fluid administered (hydrocephalus, increased intracranial pressure, malformations of the heart, urinary system, heart failure, etc.)
Children who cannot feed themselves refuse to eat (cancer pathology, damage to the central nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, etc.)

Special types of formulas take into account the special needs of the child’s body.

Contraindications

Allergy to cow’s milk proteins
Galactosemia
Conditions in which enteral nutrition is impossible (damage to the wall of the gastrointestinal tract, intestinal obstruction, severe abdominal sepsis)
Age from 0 to 1 year

Recommendations for use

The mixture is sterile, liquid, completely ready for use.

Before opening the bottle, make sure that the integrity of the packaging is intact and that the expiration date has not expired.
Do not use the mixture if the integrity of the packaging is damaged.
Do not use expired formula
Before use, the mixture should be warmed to room temperature and the bottle should be shaken well.
Always check the temperature of the mixture before use

Use the contents of the bottle for tube feeding using a specialized device for enteral tube feeding (not included in the kit).

The required amount of Nutrini mixture is calculated by the attending physician or nutritionist and depends on the child’s individual nutritional and energy needs (energy consumption and protein requirements are usually taken into account). Usually about 800–1800 kcal per day is prescribed (about 100 kcal/kg for a child weighing 8 kg, aged 1 year; about 90 kcal/kg for a child weighing 20 kg, aged 6 years).

Nutrini can also be used in children from 6 to 10 years old, however, with long-term use, they do not fully satisfy all the nutritional needs of a child of this age.

In children over 10 years of age, the use of Nutrini is not recommended.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place, out of reach of children, at a temperature of +5… +25°C.

Close the opened bottle with the unused mixture tightly with a lid, store in the refrigerator (0… +4°C), use within 24 hours.

If any mixture remains from the bottle after direct use of the product, it should be destroyed.
