Nutrini, 500 ml

The Nutrini is specially designed for tube feeding of children from 1 to 6 years of age (or weighing from 8 to 20 kg) in a hospital setting at an age for the following situations:

• After-effects of protein-energy deficiencies (growth and/or weight deficits, developmental delays)
• Elevated protein-energy costs (critical conditions, injuries, burns, infectious diseases, sepsis, severe surgical interventions, severe congenital and acquired CNS lesions,
• Preoperative preparation and postoperative management during surgeries for the correction of malformations (malformations of the heart, malformations of the maxillofacial area, gastrointestinal system, urinary system, and so on.)
• Children who need to limit the volume of fluid (hydrocephalus, increased intracranial pressure, heart, urinary system malformations, heart failure, etc.).
• Children who are unable to feed themselves, refuse to eat (oncopathology, affection of the CNS, gastrointestinal tract, etc.)

Special kinds of formula take into account the special needs of the child’s body.

Directions for use

The mixture is sterile, liquid and completely ready to use.

Use the contents of the bottle for tube feeding with the tube enteral feeding device (not included).

The amount of Nutrini formula needed is calculated by the doctor or dietitian and depends on the child’s individual nutrient and energy needs (usually taking into account energy and protein requirements). It is usually prescribed for about 800-1800 kcal/day (about 100 kcal/kg for a child weighing 8 kg, age 1 year; about 90 kcal/kg for a child weighing 20 kg, age 6 years).

Nutrinis can also be used in children 6 to 10 years of age, but they do not fully meet all the nutritional needs of a child of this age with long-term use.

In children over 10 years of age, Nutrini is not recommended.

Synopsis

Nutrini is a liquid formula, aseptically packaged, fully ready for use, which ensures the convenience and safety of use both in hospitals and at home.

The formula is adapted by its composition for children from 1 to 6 years of age (or with body weight from 8 to 20 kg). It has physiological osmolarity, high energy and protein content and may serve as the only and adequate source of nutrition.

Nutrini is the basic product for enteral nutrition.

It does not contain lactose (<300 ppm), gluten (<20 ppm), cholesterol, GMOs, food colorings or flavorings.

The product is registered and certified in the Russian Federation.
