Directions for use

Shake well before drinking.
Drink slowly in sips through a tube 20-30 minutes.
In inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and esophagus, mucositis take Nutrien chilled. This will reduce the painful sensations.
2-3 packages Nutrien 200 ml per day – as a supplement to the usual diet.
5-7 packages Nutrien 200 ml a day – as the sole source of nutrition (requires a doctor’s consultation).

Synopsis

Nutrien® Standard (Nutrien® Standard) 200 ml – complete dietary therapeutic (enteral) nutrition for the prevention and elimination of nutritional deficiencies, as well as correction of diet.
Key features:
Fats consist of 50% medium-chain triglycerides, which promotes rapid energy absorption, even in conditions of enzymatic insufficiency (absence or deficiency of lipase). The medium-chain triglycerides presence in the mix allows prescribing it at early terms after surgeries, including gastrointestinal tract surgeries, when fat assimilation is limited in patients with digestive system disorders.
The proteins are represented by the native milk protein that is easily assimilated and possesses high biological value and bioavailability.
An optimal ratio of PUFA (Omega 6, Omega 3 fatty acids) and vitamin-mineral complex provide a strong antioxidant and immunomodulating effect.
Good organoleptic properties (not sugary, low viscosity) encourage high adherence to diet therapy.
Does not contain gluten, lactose and cholesterol in clinically significant amounts

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to any component of the product.

Conditions in which enteral feeding and, also, tube feeding are not allowed (intestinal obstruction, persistent vomiting, acute pancreatitis).

Not for parenteral (insertion through a vein) feeding.

Assignments

For enteral feeding of adults and children over 1 year old in various diseases, including critical conditions, thermal injuries, cancer, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, cystic fibrosis, palliative conditions, as the main or supplementary feeding when regular food intake is impossible, limited or insufficient.
Long term can be used as the only source of nutrition.
