Nutrien Diabet is suitable for enteral feeding via tube or gastrostomy tube. It is also easy to prepare a drink from the mixture that patients can drink on their own.

Special instructions

For adults and children from 1 year. Intolerance to any component included in the mixture. Not for parenteral (intravenous) nutrition.

Composition

Milk protein concentrate, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides, vegetable oils (soybean, low erucic rapeseed), fructose, corn starch, dietary fiber (resistant starch, gum arabic, inulin, pectin, microcrystalline cellulose, fructooligosaccharides, lactulose), minerals (potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, potassium salts of orthophosphoric acid, iron (II) sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese chloride, copper sulfate, chromium chloride, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, ammonium molybdate), vitamin complex (L-ascorbic acid, nicotinamide, DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate, D-calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, retinol acetate, folic acid, D-biotin, phylloquinone, cyanocobalamin, D3 cholecalciferol), choline bitartrate, emulsifier (soy lecithin), antioxidant (L-ascorbyl palmitate).

Does not contain clinically significant amounts of lactose. Gluten free.

Recommendations for use

As a supplementary nutrition, consume 50 to 200 g per day (12-47 scoops).

Prepare the product immediately before use.

It is allowed to store freshly prepared product in a closed container in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours. Before use, stir the product and heat it to a temperature of 30-360C by placing the container in warm water.

For enteral feeding through a tube, use the finished product at room temperature within 6 hours from the moment of preparation.

Add dry Nutrien® (Nutrien®) to ready-made porridge, soup, vegetable puree, and other dishes, do not boil, so as not to destroy vitamins and protein

Prescribing

For enteral nutrition (tube and oral use) for adults and children over 1 year of age for various diseases, including critical conditions, thermal injuries, cancer, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, cystic fibrosis, palliative conditions, as well as diabetes, stress hyperglycemia, impaired glucose tolerance, as primary or additional nutrition when normal food intake is impossible, limited or insufficient.

Storage conditions

Prepare the product immediately before use. After opening the package, store the product for no more than 3 weeks in a cool, dry place, but not in the refrigerator. Before opening the package, store the product at a temperature from 0 to 25*C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%.
