A liquid, ready-to-drink, high-protein, high-calorie formula for adult patients with malnutrition or risk of malnutrition

Possible uses include:

– cancer patients during treatment and rehabilitation (preoperative preparation, postoperative rehabilitation, during and between courses of chemotherapy or radiation therapy);

– patients with anorexia and associated disorders, including decreased appetite due to metabolic stress, such as trauma, burns;

– neurological diseases or conditions such as strokes, head injuries; mental retardation, physical defects; psychiatric disorders such as anorexia nervosa; age patients; senility, dementia;

– cachexia of various genesis;

p> – hepatitis; HIV;

– mechanical and physiologic gastrointestinal disorders, including maxillofacial trauma; head and neck tumors; impaired swallowing function; partial upper gastrointestinal obstruction, such as esophageal narrowing; partial or chronic gastrointestinal obstruction Metabolic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, such as pancreatitis, intestinal inflammation; enteritis caused by radiation and chemotherapy; fistulas;

– In preparation for endoscopy and other bowel examinations (colonoscopy);

Patients with high demands, such as cystic fibrosis.

Indications

The product is intended for enteral nutrition in adult patients (over 18 years of age) with malnutrition or at risk of developing it, including:
for patients with cancer during treatment and rehabilitation
(pre- and postoperative period, period and between courses of chemotherapy or radiation therapy)
for patients who require high-calorie nutrition for diseases associated with malnutrition or the risk of its development

Special instructions

For enteral nutrition only. Do not use parenterally. Take under medical supervision. Cannot be the only source of power. Cannot be used to feed children. Fluid intake should be monitored to ensure adequate hydration. Use with caution in patients with impaired renal function

Contraindications

Cannot be used to feed children under 18 years of age.
Cannot be used in cases of severe dysfunction of the gastrointestinal tract as a result of intestinal obstruction, perforation of the gastrointestinal tract, ischemic intestines, or in case of individual intolerance to any component of the mixture.

Recommendations for use

1-3 bottles per day, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor. The dosage is calculated depending on the protein and energy requirements.
Consumed only orally, through a straw or in small sips over 20–30 minutes
The duration of use is not limited, a clinically significant effect occurs when taken for at least 14 days
Store in a dry place at a temperature from +5 to +25 °C. Store opened bottle closed in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.
Cannot be the only source of power.
