Restore water-electrolyte balance in dehydration, as well as to restore and maintain intestinal microflora.
Composition
Chamber A: Dextrose, sodium chloride, acidity regulator sodium hydrogen carbonate E500ii, potassium chloride, anti-caking agent amorphous silicon dioxide E551, natural flavoring “Apple” (maltodextrin, carrier gum arabic E414, flavor composition of natural origin, moisture-holding agent triacetin E1518), fruit-oligosaccharides, stabilizer guar gum E412;
Chamber B: Maltodextrin, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. Na and K salt complex, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG probiotic.
The composition and osmolarity of the prepared solution:
Glucose 73 mmol/l
Na+ 60 mmol/l
K+ 20 mmol/l
Cl+ 60 mmol/l
Bicarbonate 20 mmol/l
Fructooligosaccharides 11 g
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG (LGG) 5×109 CFU
The osmolarity of the prepared solution meets the recommendations of the European Association of Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists and Nutritionists (ESPHGAN).
The complex of sodium and potassium salts restores the water-electrolyte balance. It helps to prevent acidosis and electrolyte disorders in dehydration of various etiologies.
The strain of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG ATCC 53103 has clinically proven effectiveness in the prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and rotavirus infection and suppresses the growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract.
Dextrose is a source of energy that provides the basic needs of the body and promotes the absorption of electrolytes.
Maltodextrin is a prebiotic component and stimulates the growth of normal intestinal microflora.
Directions for use
Preparing Normobakt Aquabalance solution:
Dissolve the contents of 1 dual-chamber Duocam sachet (DUOCAM) in 200 ml of chilled boiled water and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. It is important to use at least the amount of water specified to avoid excess salts entering the body.
The rehydration with Normobakt Aquabalance consists of 2 steps:
The first stage of rehydration: is 4-6 hours. If the doctor has not prescribed otherwise, the calculation of the required volume of the solution is made in the dosage of 50-100 ml/kg of body weight.
The approximate volumes: (Volume of solution in the first 4-6 hours, ml*)
Children under 1 year old 200-650
Children 1 to 3 years old 750-1200
Children 4 to 6 years old 1300-1500
Children from 7 years of age and adults From 1500
* The maximum dosage of the solution should not exceed 2200 ml per day for children and 4400 ml for adults.
In case of vomiting, it is recommended that the solution be administered frequently and in small portions. For a child, the calculated amount of solution for 1 hour should be given 10-15 ml every 5-10 minutes using a dropper or a teaspoon.
The second stage of rehydration: 50-100 ml after each episode of liquid stools, but not less than 50 ml/kg of body weight per day until the cessation of symptoms (but not more than 3 days).
If symptoms persist for 3 days or more, a doctor should be consulted.
