Pharmacodynamics

Bilberry anthocyanosides (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) stimulate the synthesis and regeneration of rhodopsin, the light-sensitive pigment of the retina, increasing its sensitivity to changes in light intensity, improving visual acuity and adaptation to darkness in low light conditions and improving blood supply to the retina.

Indications

moderate and high myopia;
acquired hemeralopia;
diabetic retinopathy;
violation of the mechanisms of vision adaptation to darkness (night and twilight vision);

taperetinal retinal abiotrophy (retinal pigment degeneration).

Blueberry extract

Composition

Soft gelatin capsules, oval, brown; the contents of the capsule are a thick, black oily mass.

dry extract of blueberry fruit (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) (76-153:1) 177 mg with total anthocyanidin content 25%
Excipients: soybean oil – 131 mg, hydrogenated vegetable oil – 40 mg.
Composition of the capsule shell: gelatin – 94 mg, glycerol – 36 mg, red iron oxide dye – 0.5 mg, black iron oxide dye – 1.2 mg, sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate – 0.4 mg, sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate – 0.2 mg.

Pregnancy

Since there is no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the drug should not be used in these categories of patients
