Mycosoral shampoo 2%, 60 g

Mycosoral is an antifungal drug of synthetic origin (Latin name Mycozaral), it has the property of slowing down the development of fungi (fungiostatic action) and destroying fungi (fungicidal action).

Indications

Lesions of the skin, hair and nails caused by dermatophytes and/or yeasts (dermatophytosis, onychomycosis, paronychia candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor, folliculitis, trichophytosis), gastrointestinal mycoses, ocular mycoses, cutaneous leishmaniasis, seborrheic dermatitis caused by Pityrosporum ovale, systemic mycoses (candidiasis, paracoccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, coccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis), fungal sepsis, vaginal candidiasis (acute and chronic recurrent); mycoses in patients with immunodeficiency (prevention).

Composition

Active ingredient:

ketoconazole 20 mg;

Excipients:

propylene glycol,

hydroxypropyl methylcellulose,

sodium laureth sulfate,

sodium metabisulfite,

macrogol glyceryl cocoate,

imidomerea,

yellow-orange dye,

hydrochloric acid, diluted,

purified water;

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, acute liver diseases, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Side Effects

From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, paresthesia.

From the gastrointestinal tract: loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, increased levels of liver transaminases in the blood, jaundice, hepatitis (high mortality, the risk increases when used for more than 14 days).

From the genitourinary system: gynecomastia, decreased libido, impotence, oligospermia, menstrual irregularities.

Allergic reactions: urticaria, skin itching.

Other: photophobia, alopecia, arthralgia, fever, thrombocytopenia;

local reactions – hyperemia and irritation of the vaginal mucosa, vaginal itching (suppositories);

local skin irritation, burning, rash, contact dermatitis (cream, ointment);

irritation, itching and burning of the skin, increased oiliness or dryness of hair (shampoo).

Storage conditions

In a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
