Mycosoral is an antifungal drug of synthetic origin (Latin name Mycozaral), it has the property of slowing down the development of fungi (fungiostatic action) and destroying fungi (fungicidal action).
Indications
Skin, hair and nail lesions caused by dermatophytes and/or yeasts (dermatophytosis, onychomycosis, candida paronychia, variegated shingles, folliculitis, trichophytosis), gastrointestinal mycosis, ocular mycosis, cutaneous leishmaniasis, Seborrheic dermatitis caused by Pityrosporum ovale, systemic mycoses (candidiasis, paracoccidiomycosis, histoplasmosis, coccidiomycosis, blastomycosis), fungal sepsis, vaginal candidiasis (acute and chronic relapsing); Mycoses in patients with immunodeficiency (prevention).

How to take, the dosage
Topically. In dermatomycosis of smooth skin the ointment is applied to the affected and immediately adjacent surface once a day, in seborrheic dermatitis – 1-2 times a day (depending on the severity of the lesion).
The average duration of treatment of dermatomycosis of smooth skin is 3-4 weeks, inguinal epidermophytosis and seborrheic dermatitis – 2-4 weeks, foot epidermophytosis 4-6 weeks, yeast infections and peptic ulcer – 2-3 weeks.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, acute liver disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding.
Side effects
Nervous system and sensory organs: headache, dizziness, somnolence, paresthesias.
Gastrointestinal system disorders: decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, increased liver transaminases in the blood, jaundice, hepatitis (high mortality, the risk increases with use over 14 days).
Urogenital system disorders: gynecomastia, decreased libido, impotence, oligospermia, menstrual disorders.
Allergic reactions: urticaria, skin itching.
Other: photophobia, alopecia, arthralgia, fever, thrombocytopenia; local reactions – hyperemia and irritation of the vaginal mucosa, vaginal itching (suppositories); local skin irritation, burning, rash, contact dermatitis (cream, ointment); skin irritation, itching and burning, increased greasiness or dry hair (shampoo).
