How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, orally or by probe.

To prepare the mixture, dissolve the powder in the required volume of clean boiled water at room temperature, stir immediately until completely dissolved, pour into a clean container, cover and refrigerate.

Synopsis

The complete and balanced casein-based dry mixture for therapeutic nutrition of patients with inflammatory diseases of the large intestine (Crohn’s disease, nonspecific ulcerative colitis).

Modulen IBD is a new product by Nestlé for therapeutic enteral nutrition in patients with non-specific ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.

The technology of manufacturing Modulen retains natural anti-inflammatory growth factors (TGF-b2) found in unpasteurized milk and helps reduce intestinal inflammatory activity and normal body function.

Modulen is a dry complete and balanced casein-based formula which contains proteins, fats and carbohydrates in an optimal ratio and all the vitamins, macro and micronutrients the body needs. This is why Modulen can be used as the main or only food during the active phase of Crohn’s disease or as an additional food during any period of the disease. The pleasant taste makes it possible to use Modulen not only for probing but also for oral administration.

The carbohydrate component is maltodextrin to keep the osmolarity of the product low. Modulen does not contain lactose or gluten.

Please note that 1500 ml of the nutritional mix provides the recommended daily intake of vitamins, macro- and micronutrients.
