Methyluracil has anabolic activity. It has hematopoietic, leukopoietic, immunostimulatory, anti-inflammatory effects.

Normalizing the nucleic exchange, it accelerates regeneration processes in wounds by accelerating the growth and granulation maturation of tissue and epithelization (including in the rapidly proliferating cells of the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract), stimulates erythro- and leukopoiesis, cellular and humoral immune factors.

Indications

Agranulocytic angina, alimentary toxic leukemia, chronic benzene intoxication, poorly healing wounds, burns, bone fractures, peptic ulcer, chronic gastritis, hepatitis, pancreatitis, lesions in radiation therapy.

Base for suppositories:

Fat solid (Vitepsol, grades H 15, W 35, Supposir, grades NA 15, NAS 50) – up to a suppository weight of 2.3 g.

How to take, the dosage

Rectally.

Adults – 1-2 suppositories 1-4 times a day;

Children aged 3-8 years – 1/2 suppository a day;

8-15 years – 1 suppository a day.

The course of treatment is from 7 days to 4 months, depending on the nature of the disease.
