Pharmic action:

Meteospasmyl is a combination drug. It has antispasmodic effect, reduces gas formation in the intestine.

Alverine is a myotropic antispasmodic whose action is not accompanied by atropine-like effect or ganglioblocking activity. It reduces the increased tone of the smooth muscles of the intestine.

Simethicone is a hydrophobic polymeric substance with low surface tension that reduces gas formation in the intestine and covers the gastrointestinal wall with a protective film.

Indications

Functional GI disorders manifested by abdominal pain, increased gas, belching, nausea, constipation, diarrhea or their alternation, including irritable bowel syndrome.

Preparing for radiological, ultrasonic or instrumental examination of the abdominal cavity.

Active ingredient

Composition

1 capsule:

– alverine citrate 60 mg
– simethicone 300 mg

Supplements:

Soy lecithin,

Medium-density triglycerides.

Capsule shell composition:

gelatin,

glycerol,

titanium dioxide,

purified water.

How to take, the dosage

Meteospasmyl is taken orally, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day before meals.

In preparation for abdominal studies – 1 capsule 2-3 times the day before the study and 1 capsule the morning of the study.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the components of Meteospasmyl.

Side effects

In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible.
