Scabies
A bottle containing 24 ml of the drug (for ease of use the bottle is labeled), or 12 ampoules of 2 ml, for a three-day course of treatment. It is used topically as a freshly prepared 0.4% aqueous emulsion. 1/3 of the contents of the bottle (8 ml) or 4 ampoules of 2 ml are added to 100 ml of warm boiled water.
The ready emulsion is thoroughly rubbed into the skin of the upper extremities, trunk and then lower extremities once a day (at night). The skin of the face and neck as well as the scalp should not be treated. At the end of the course of treatment on the fourth day the patient should take a shower and change of underwear and bedclothes.
Todal and pubic pediculosis
The treatment of head and pubic pediculosis is applied externally as a freshly prepared 0.2% water emulsion. To obtain the emulsion, 1/3 of the contents of the bottle (8 ml) is added to 200 ml of warm boiled water.
When using the concentrate in ampoules to obtain the emulsion, add the contents of 1 ampoule (2 ml) to 50 ml of water; for long, thick hair and high insect population, add 4 ml of the product to 100 ml of water. The resulting aqueous emulsion is applied liberally to wet scalp or hairy body parts (in case of pubic pediculosis), rubbing lightly into skin with a cotton swab. After 20 minutes after treatment the product is washed off with warm running water and soap (shampoo).
