Lotseril, nail polish 5% 2.5ml

LOCERIL is an antifungal drug for external use.

It has fungistatic and fungicidal effect caused by damage of the cytoplasmic membrane of the fungus by disruption of sterol biosynthesis.

It has a broad spectrum of action, active against fungi of the genus: Trichophyton, Candida, Pityrosporum. Cryplococcus, Mycrosporum, Epidermophyton, Alternaria, Hendersonula, Scopjlariopsis, Cladosporium, Fonseceae, Wangiella, Coccidoides, Histoplasma, Sporothrix.

Indications

Treatment of nail lesions caused by different types of fungi (as monotherapy if no more than 2/3 of the nail plate is affected); prevention of fungal nail lesions.

butyl acetate,

ethanol.

Directions for use

In case of onychomycosis, the solution is applied to the affected finger or toe nails 1-2 times a week.

The therapy should be continued until the nail regenerates and the affected area is completely cured. The course of treatment averages 6 months for the nails on the hands and 9-12 months for the toenails.

The method of application of the solution: before applying the drug, remove the affected areas of the nail (especially on its surface), if possible, using the attached nail file.

The nail surface is then cleaned and degreased with the alcohol swab provided. The nail should be cleaned with a nail file and alcohol swab before every use.

The solution is applied to the entire surface of the affected nail with a spatula and allowed to dry. The above procedure is repeated for each affected nail. The spatula should be dipped in the solution, then remove the spatula from the bottle without touching its neck.

The neck of the bottle is wiped with the same swab that was used to treat the nail, and the bottle is sealed tightly after use.

Let the solution dry for approximately 3 minutes. After treating all nails, wipe the spatula with the used swab. Contact between the treated nails and the swab should be avoided; the used swab should be discarded.

Special Instructions

Pickers used to treat affected nails should not be used on healthy nails.

People working with organic solvents should wear impervious gloves to protect nails coated with LoCeryl solution.

The use of false fingernails should be avoided during treatment with LoCeril.

There are no clinical data on the effectiveness and safety of Loceryl in children, so Loceryl should not be prescribed to children.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Pregnancy use

It is not recommended to use Lotseril during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).
