Indications
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and year-round), conjunctivitis, pollinosis, urticaria (including chronic idiopathic).chronic idiopathic), angioneurotic edema, pruritic dermatoses; pseudoallergic reactions caused by histamine release; allergic reactions to insect bites.

Composition
How to take, the dosage
Adults and children with body weight over 30 kg – 10 mg once daily.
In case of hepatic insufficiency the initial dose is 5 mg/day.
In children from 2 to 12 years of age with body weight less than 30 kg – 5 mg/day at 1 use.
Interaction
Microsomal oxidation inducers (phenytoin, barbiturates, rifampicin, phenylbutazone, tricyclic antidepressants) decrease the effectiveness of loratadine.
Loratadine does not increase the effect of alcohol on the central nervous system.
Special Instructions
During treatment, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and rapid psychomotor reactions because of the risk of drowsiness.
Further the degree of restriction is determined individually for each patient.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, period of lactation.
With caution. Liver failure, pregnancy.
Side effects
Nervous system disorders: anxiety, agitation (in children), asthenia, somnolence, hyperkinesia, paresthesia, tremor, amnesia, depression, increased fatigue.
Skin disorders: dermatitis.
Anxiety to the genitourinary system: change in urine color, painful urge to urinate; dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, vaginitis.
Metabolic disorders: weight gain, sweating, thirst.
Musculoskeletal disorders: calf cramps, arthralgia, myalgia.
Digestive system disorders: dry mouth, change in taste, anorexia, constipation or diarrhea, dyspepsia, gastritis, flatulence, increased appetite, stomatitis, nausea, vomiting.
Respiratory system: cough, bronchospasm, dry nasal mucosa, sinusitis.
Sensory system disorders: visual impairment, conjunctivitis, pain in the eyes and ears.
Cardiovascular system disorders: decreased or increased blood pressure, palpitations.
Others: photosensitization, back pain, chest pain, fever, chills, breast pain, blepharospasm, dysphonia.
Overdose
Sleepiness, tachycardia, headache. In case of overdose, consult a physician and take measures to remove the drug from the gastrointestinal tract and reduce absorption (vomiting, gastric lavage, laxatives, activated charcoal).
Peritoneal dialysis is ineffective; hemodialysis is not recommended.
