It is recommended as a food supplement – a source of probiotic microorganisms.

The probiotic Linex for children® contains Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12) which is important for children.

Why Bifidobacteria BB-12?

Bifidobacterium BB-12 is found in breast milk and begins to populate the intestines of the newborn from the first hours of life. This strain has high safety, good tolerability and clinical efficacy in children from the newborn period.

Bifidobacteria contribute to the natural formation of normal microflora and intestinal function and create an optimal environment in the intestine for the action of digestive enzymes.

Bifidobacteria also contribute to the proper formation of immunity and help reduce the risk of infectious diseases, the possibility of atopic dermatitis and food allergies in young children.

In breastfed children it is bifidobacteria that constitute 60-91% of the microflora.

Composition

Powder of 1.5 g in sachets.

Composition (per 1 sachet bag):

Filler maltodextrin 1400 mg,

Lyophilized Bifidobacterium powder 100.0 mg.

The number of probiotic microorganisms Bifidobacterium animalis (strain DSM #15954) – at least 1.0×108 CFU/g (corresponding to 1.5×108 CFU/packet-sachet).

Maltodextrin is a product of incomplete hydrolysis of starch, non-toxic.

It is an inert excipient that is neutral for infant digestion.

How to take, the dosage

Children from birth to 7 years – 1 sachet once a day with meals; children from 7 to 12 years – 2 sachets a day with meals.

Open the sachet and mix the contents with milk, juice or other baby food.

Do not mix the contents of the sachet with hot drinks – the product temperature must not exceed 35°C.

In case of concomitant administration with antibiotics, take not earlier than 3 hours after the antibiotics.

The recommended duration of administration is 30 days.

If necessary, the treatment can be repeated in 1 month.
