Pharmacological properties

Linex® normalizes intestinal microflora. One capsule of Linex® contains at least 1.2 x 107 live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium infantis, Enterococcus faecium. Live lactic acid bacteria are a normal component of the natural intestinal microflora and are already contained in the digestive tract of the newborn baby. These bacteria are of great biochemical importance to the human body:

Lactose fermentation shifts the pH factor to the acidic side. Acidic environment inhibits the growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria and provides optimal action of digestive enzymes;

Participate in the synthesis of vitamins B and K, ascorbic acid, thereby increasing the resistance of the body to adverse environmental factors;

– are involved in the metabolism of bile pigments and bile acids.

– synthesize substances with antibacterial activity.

– increases the immune reactivity of the body.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of dysbacteriosis.

Dysbacteriosis is manifested by the following symptoms: diarrhea (diarrhea), dyspepsia (indigestion), constipation, flatulence (bloating), nausea, belching, vomiting, abdominal pain, allergic skin reactions are possible.

– synthesize substances with antibacterial activity;

– increases the body’s immune reactivity.

Special instructions

Linex should not be taken with hot drinks or taken simultaneously with alcohol.

You should consult your doctor before taking the drug if you:

– body temperature above 38° C,

– traces of blood or mucus in the stool,

– diarrhea lasts more than two days and/or is accompanied by acute abdominal pain, dehydration and weight loss,

– chronic diseases (for example, diabetes mellitus, diseases of the cardiovascular system) or conditions accompanied by immunodeficiency (for example, HIV infection).

When treating diarrhea, it is necessary to replace lost fluids and electrolytes.

Lebenin® ˗ 280.00 mg (1 g of active ingredient Lebenin®, powder contains:

Lactobacillus acidophilus (species L. gasseri) ˗ 300 mg,

Bifidobacterium infantis ˗ 300 mg,

Enterococcus faecium ˗ 300 mg,

lactose ˗ 50 mg,

potato starch ˗ 50 mg);

excipients:

magnesium stearate ˗ 8.40 mg;

capsule shell ˗ methylhydroxybenzoate ˗ 0.19 mg,

propylhydroxybenzoate ˗ 0.08 mg,

titanium dioxide (E171) ˗ 0.98 mg,

gelatin ˗ up to 63.0 mg.

Pregnancy

Due to insufficient data on the safety of use in pregnant and lactating women, taking Linex® during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended as a precautionary measure. Treatment of diarrhea during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be carried out under medical supervision.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption;

children under 18 years of age.

Side Effects

The drug is well tolerated.

There are no reports of adverse effects, but the possibility of hypersensitivity reactions cannot be excluded.

Interaction

No undesirable interactions with other drugs were noted.

The composition of the drug allows you to take LINEX simultaneously with other medications, including antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs.

Overdose

Currently, no cases of overdose of Linex have been reported.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Store in original packaging.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life

2 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
